Nuts charge into Playoff's in 1st place and 4th Place

The posting below is intended to be non-biased - but lets face it - I manage one of the teams - I'm biased.

Who: Academia Nuts-2 and Academia Nuts-3

What: Softball Playoffs baby!

When: Thursday, January 25, 2007. 7:45 and 9:00

Where: Whaley Park - corner of Atherton and Bellflower, behind the YMCA

Why: Cuz we're awesome and we need tons of fans to come out and support!

How: Not sure - seems like a miracle - but its actually cuz we're pretty good.

The good news - both teams made the playoffs, and no matter what happens, one team will play for 1st place. Nuts-2 finished the regular season in 1st place (7-2-1), Nuts-3 finished in 4th place (6-4).

The bad news - in order to play in the championship game, one nuts team will have to beat the other. 1st place team plays the 4th place team at 7:45; then the winner plays at 9:00 against the winner of the other semi-final game (Superior vs. Malloys - in case you care).

Bring blankets, jackets, gloves, coffee, hot chocolate - whatever you need to keep warm. The more people at the game - the warmer it will be (if you sit close together).
